The LRA and Fidelity Security are now offering more affordable rates to our residents who wish to subscribe to the security initiative.  We have introduced new, lower rates and the accounts of existing subscribers living in complexes and street closures have been adjusted from February.

However, in order to break even or consider more reductions the LRA must continue to sign up large numbers of new subscribers.  You can help.  Encourage your neighbours in your complex or street to sign up with the LRA and Fidelity Security.  Approach new residents and inform them about the LRA's security initiative.  We need your support.

THE FREE COLLECTION SYSTEM IS NO LONGER IN OPERATION

.Mama She's collection service in its basic outline is the same as it was in the past:

* Weekly collections on a designated day;

* Blue recycling refuse bags used each week to avoid the high outlay in wheelie bins and therefore keep costs down;

* No washing of bags etc, with new ones being used by the household every week;

* The recyclables (paper, cardboard,plastic, glass and cans) are mixed together in the bag- we take care of the sorting.

The service costs for a household are as follows:

 * Initiation/administration fee (once off) R 100.00

* Collection fee of R 45.00 per month to be paid quarterly (R 135.00) in  advance- the bags are included in the collection fee (a limit of 30 bags per quarter are provided).
